Terms of use

Last updated November 1, 2026

These terms cover your use of smbai.guide (“the site”). The site is free to read, needs no account and sells nothing. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. General information, not advice

The guides are general information about AI and software tools for small businesses. They are not legal, medical, tax, accounting, financial, privacy or compliance advice, and they don't take your circumstances into account. Before you rely on a guide for a decision that carries legal or regulatory risk (for example patient or client data, employment, or tax filing), check with a qualified professional.

2. Accuracy and prices

The guides are researched and drafted with AI and are not checked line by line by a person before they are published, as the methodology page explains. They can contain mistakes. Prices, plans and features change often and may have changed since a guide was last updated. Always confirm a price and what it includes on the vendor's own site before you buy. ROI figures are illustrations, not promises.

If you find an error, please tell us through the contact page.

3. Other websites and tools

The site links to vendors and other websites it does not own or control. Their content, products, prices, privacy practices and terms are their own responsibility. Any account, purchase or contract you enter into with a vendor is between you and that vendor. Our financial relationships with vendors, currently none, are set out in the affiliate disclosure.

4. Using our content

The text, layout and graphics on the site belong to SmbAI unless marked otherwise. Product names and logos belong to their owners. You may read, print and share links to any page, and quote short excerpts with a link back to the page you quoted. Please don't republish whole guides or large parts of them without permission. The copy-paste prompts in the guides are there to be used: paste them into your own AI tools as much as you like.

5. Acceptable use

Don't try to disrupt the site, get around its security, or load it so heavily that it slows down for others.

6. No warranty and limits on liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it is accurate, complete, current or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, SmbAI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything in it, including decisions about buying or using any tool it mentions. Some places don't allow some of these limits; where that is the case, they apply only as far as the law permits.

7. Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top shows when they last did. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
